FAQ

Who runs the harvest moon conference?
The conference is organised and run by an the Pagan Federation and a group of volunteers who are kind enough to give up their time for free, to put on the best event we can. The event and its organisers have close connection to many moots, groups and organisations within the area and further afield.

What is the money spent on?
The money raised by the Harvest Moon goes towards making sure we can get fantastic speakers from all over the country. We are fortunate enough to have some amazing speakers come along to our event, who you are only likely to normally see at larger events, such as those in London. It also goes towards hiring our beautiful venue and other such things. Every penny left over, we put back into the event to try and make it even better for the next year.

Can I get a refund for my ticket?
Unfortunately all tickets sold are non refundable, but you might be able to find someone to buy your ticket on our facebook page or on the day itself.

Will there be food and drink at the venue?
There will be a selection of light refreshments on sale through-out the day. For those looking for a hot lunch, then you can find some information about great venues around the area here.

Can children attend?
Children are welcome to attend the event, but anyone under the age of 16 will need to be accompanied by an adult at all times. There may also be some talks and workshops that have adult themes and may not be appropriate for young children. Most of the time, we will leave this down to your own and best judgement. However there may be some workshops where meditations or exercises take place, where the speaker may ask those who are not fully taking part to leave the room, so those partaking have the right environment. We do ask that parents and guardians do their best to respect the speakers and the our other guests at the event, by watching over their young ones.

Are children free?
Young people under the age of 16 can get a child's ticket for half the price of an adult ticket. Children under the age of 5 get in for free. To find out more about the different tickets prices, please visit our tickets page

Is there disabled parking at the venue?
We have a limited number of parking spaces available on the day at the venue itself, which we try to keep clear for disabled parking. If you should wish to have one of these disabled spaces, then please contact us before the event to guarantee a place.
